Bourbon Anyone?

Sometimes our projects take us to magical places that we had not even considered visiting. Last week Team Elledge had an amazing job in Louisville, KY.  Team Elledge made the best of our time outside of our assignment with some restaurant  ideas provided by Rick and Deann Bayless  and some additional activity research from our trusty producer Leasha Overturf.    Some highlights included the Louisville Slugger Factory, the restaurants Decca and The Blind Pig and and a small record store called Underground Sounds.

The feature attraction was our visit to the Woodford Reserve Distillery located about an hour outside of Louisville in Versailles, KY.  If you want history, beauty and tasty Bourbon, this is your place.  The old world charm of the distillery, and the old school hand crafted approach to production creates quite a charming experience.  And, you get to taste the bourbon right there.  We recommend the new Double Oaked Woodford Reserve.  Or, one can purchase a fantastic bottle of Woodford Reserve Select  and get it custom engraved on site.

All of this fun in and around Louisville, KY certainly made us start to plan a return holiday trip.
